This role is a great fit for an ACA/ACCA-qualified second-time mover looking to apply their technical skills in a group reporting capacity, while also gaining hands-on experience across a variety of projects. These include pre- and post-acquisition integration, structural simplification, systems implementation, process improvement, and enhancements to both financial and operational reporting.
The successful candidate will be a confident and capable business partner, with the opportunity to work closely with teams across all areas of the business.
Other responsibilities include:
- Ownership of the Group Financials including the P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
- Consolidation of the monthly Group accounts and forecast
- Support the Group Financial Controller with the month end reporting and preparation of financial information for the board meetings
- Assist with the preparation of the annual statutory accounts for the Group and subsidiaries
- Support with driving the financial controls across the Group; with the view of standardising and developing group wide processes and reporting
- Assistance with preparation of annual Group budget and forecasting
- Monitor divisional compliance with accounting standards and Group accounting policies
- Implementing new and / or updated Accounting standards across the Group where necessary
- Involvement in a variety of ad hoc projects including assistance with potential acquisitions
- Business partnering across the group including senior stakeholders in finance, operations, IT, HR ect.
