We are seeking an experienced Outreach Worker to join our team in London, working closely with our Peer Mentor program.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Outreach Worker to deliver outreach services to individuals in London, providing support and signposting to local resources. As an Outreach Worker, you will have lived experience ofsubstance misuse issues and be able to relate to our service users. You will work closely with our Peer Mentor program to provide a holistic approach to support, promoting independence, confidence, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outreach services to individuals in Haringey, providing emotional support and signposting to local resources
  • Work closely with our Peer Mentor program to provide a holistic approach to support
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Assess individual needs and develop personalized support plans
  • Provide information, guidance, and advocacy to support service users in accessing local services and resources
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements:
  • Lived experience of mental health issues
  • Experience of working with vulnerable populations (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong assessment and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
