Our client is a leading name in the construction sector, delivering innovative and sustainable M&E solutions across a wide range of projects. They pride themselves on their collaborative approach, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence.

They are now looking for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility with regular visits to their head office in North Wales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the commercial aspects of M&E projects from procurement through to final account

  • Prepare and oversee budgets, cost plans, valuations, and forecasts

  • Negotiate and manage subcontractor contracts, accounts, and payments

  • Assess variations, claims, and change control processes

  • Provide detailed commercial reporting to senior management

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within M&E (mechanical & electrical)

  • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge

  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Proficiency with relevant software (e.g. Excel, estimating tools)
