Stuck teaching the same old stuff ?

ICT Trainer | Cornwall | Competitive Package | Maternity Cover until Sept 2026

You know your stuff inside out. You can deliver training that actually sticks. But you're probably fed up with being stuck in the same training room, delivering the same generic courses to people who'd rather be anywhere else.

What if you could design your own training programmes from scratch? What if you had the freedom to be creative, use the latest tools, and actually see people get excited about technology?

Your challenge

This will be different from anything you've done before. You'll be building an entire training function for a forward-thinking organisation that's genuinely committed to getting technology right.

You'll design and deliver everything from induction programmes to advanced MS365 training, create video content that people will actually want to watch, and work with teams who are hungry to learn.

Working across multiple locations (including from home when it suits), you'll have complete ownership of how you approach training delivery. Whether that's face-to-face workshops, online sessions, or innovative blended learning - the choice is yours.

You'll be working with modern tech, decent budgets, and leadership who understand that good training is an investment, not a cost.

The organisation

This is a well-established housing provider that's been quietly building something special in Cornwall for over 20 years. They manage thousands of properties, but they haven't lost sight of the fact that technology should make people's lives easier, not harder.

They're expanding rapidly (2,000 new homes by 2030) which means your role will grow with them. You'll inherit a team that's keen to learn and leadership that backs innovation with actual resources.

About you

You're not just a trainer - you're an educator who gets genuinely excited about helping people discover what technology can do for them.

You've got the qualifications (Level 5, teaching qualification, decent GCSEs), but more importantly, you've got that spark that makes people lean in when you're explaining something.

You're comfortable with MS365 inside and out, you can create content that doesn't send people to sleep, and you thrive when you're given the freedom to do things your way.

Most importantly, you're ready for a proper challenge where your work will make a real difference.

What next

You probably want to know more about the organisation, their systems, and exactly what you'd be walking into.

Meanwhile, I'll need to know you can design training that works and deliver it in a way that people remember.
