About the Role:
Join a growing and dynamic team based in Cornwall, working on exciting residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a key role in supporting senior surveyors with cost management, contract administration, and project monitoring, ensuring everything stays on budget and runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for projects
- Conduct site visits and assessments
- Support procurement and tendering processes
- Monitor project costs and manage variations
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports and financial forecasts
- Build strong relationships with contractors, clients, and consultants
About You:
- 2-3 years' experience in Quantity Surveying
- Strong knowledge of construction industry practices and regulations
- Proficiency in using industry-standard software (e.g., CostX, Excel)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
- Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented
