Production Operative - Weekend ShiftÂ
Location: St Neots Cambridgeshire
Hours:Â 34 hours per week
Shift Pattern:
- Friday: 5 hours (10am to 3pm)
- Saturday: 12 hours (6am to 6pm)Â
- Sunday: 12 hours (6am to 6pm)
- Monday: 5 hours (10am to 3pm)Â
Do you have experience working in a production or manufacturing environment?
Attega Group is currently working exclusively with our client who specialise in high-quality, turnkey solutions in print, signage, and fabrication.
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Production Operative to join the weekend shift team in a busy department.Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate large-format printersÂ
- Interpret job specifications to ensure accurate setup and materials.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean working area.
- Prepare jobs for fabrication measuring, templating, and hand trimming.
- Finish products by welding, eyeleting, and completing quality inspections.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure jobs are completed to spec and on schedule.
- Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands-on experience within a Manufacturing or Production environment
- Willing to learn attitude
- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Familiarity with MIS systems and basic IT skills.
- Team player with great communication skills.
- Flexible, dependable, and willing to work overtime if required.
- Consistently punctual with a proactive mindset.
