Job Title: Highways NEC4 Supervisor
Location: A428 St Neots - Site Based
Contract: ASAP start - up to 2 years
Hours: 40 per week, 5 days | Rate: Up to 60/hr

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Highways NEC4 Supervisor to join a major highway infrastructure project. You will monitor on-site works, verify compliance with contract specifications, witness testing, report defects, and provide weekly progress updates. The role involves walking over uneven ground and accessing elevated areas of construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake NEC4 ECC Supervisor duties and maintain safety and quality standards.
  • Review designs and provide guidance on constructability.
  • Witness testing and commissioning; inspect work and materials.
  • Monitor progress, report risks/issues, and submit weekly updates.
  • Contribute to technical problem-solving and team collaboration.

Requirements:

  • NEC4 ECC Supervisor Accreditation desirable.
  • Degree/HND in Civil Engineering or relevant experience in lieu.
  • Experience on highway infrastructure projects and NEC4 contracts.
  • Knowledge of DMRB and Specification for Highway Works.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and client-facing skills.
