Vision for Education are looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School in the St Neots area of Cambridgeshire. You will be working with children who have a variety of special educational needs, on a one-to-one basis and also within small focus groups.

About the role

You will be working with children who have a range of special educational needs including children with a diagnosis of ADHD and/or Autism. These children can be prone to emotional outbursts and require a calm and therapeutic approach to enable them to feel safe and understood.

This role could be temporary-to-permanent, after a successful period there may be the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff.

Requirements:

To be considered for the role of 1-1 TA you will:

  • Have some experience or working in a school or similar setting
  • Hold a TA Qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Have some experience of working with children or adults with SEND

You will also need to provide:

  • Two references to support recent employment
  • A full clear DBS

Salary

£89 to £95 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
