About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliableAssistant Site Managerto join our team on atraditional build housing developmentin the St Neots,Cambridgeshire area.. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly regarded, independent developer known for quality and attention to detail.

You will play a key role on site, supporting the Site Manager with day-to-day operations to ensure that the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the management of trades and subcontractors on site.

  • Monitor health and safety compliance.

  • Ensure work is completed to specification and quality standards.

  • Support with scheduling, deliveries, and reporting progress to the Site Manager.

  • Help maintain accurate site records and daily logs.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, suppliers, and the project team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager or similar role in residential construction.

  • Strong understanding of traditional build methods.

  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.

  • SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification (preferred).

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
