Financial Accountant

My Client is seeking a diligent and adaptable Financial Accountant for an Temp to perm position.

Key Responsibilities:• Assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements.• Prepare various financial returns.• Manage Fixed Assets and Work in Progress (WIP) accounting, including significant planned projects (£100m).• Contribute to managing cash, working capital, and treasury functions.• Perform complex balance sheet reconciliations, particularly within the FE area.• Provide flexible support, including assisting with management accounts.• Support the implementation of a new finance system (Iplicit).This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical accounting skills and the ability to adapt to varying tasks. Experience with fixed assets, WIP accounting for large projects, and complex reconciliations is highly desirable.
