Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to join their dynamic team based in West Hertfordshire.
The RoleAs Preconstruction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the early stages of project development, working closely with clients, designers, estimators, and the delivery team. You will be responsible for managing all preconstruction activities, ensuring projects are set up for success from the outset.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate preconstruction activities on multiple civil engineering projects.
- Oversee bid management, tender submissions, and value engineering processes.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to develop innovative solutions.
- Prepare and review project programmes, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Support business development by identifying new opportunities and building client relationships.
- Proven experience as a Preconstruction Manager or in a similar preconstruction/estimating role within civil engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering methods and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management are desirable.
