Sales Executive Location: St AlbansSalary: up to £28kHours: Mon-FriGrafton Recruitment are looking for a graduate Sales Executive to gain new business in and around St Albans for a business that specialises in market research and consumer attitudes and behaviour. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody to kick start their career within sales.Duties and responsibilities
- Identifying new business opportunities by presenting the value of the companies offerings (both syndicated and consulting) to prospective clients
- Understanding the client's business information needs across a range of business functions, including competitive intelligence, product marketing and market research
- Managing the initial process of cold calling to booking in a demo for a senior to take over
- Account Management
- Drafting and sending appropriate sales correspondence
- Follow up calls
- Managing sales process through to closure
- Exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Collaborating with the research team to identify new sales campaign messaging
- Providing input on new product development projects (voice of the customer)
- Building great rapport and valuable working relationships within the industry and potential clients
You will need:
- Sales and/or customer service experience
- Degree level or equivalent level of education
- Experience of negotiating with clients and suppliers.
- Key account management experience with proven success of developing relationships.
- Good administrative skills.
- Good numerical skills.
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
