Overview

If you are looking for a career rather than a job, we have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Sales Consultant to join a well-established commercial company based in St Albans. This is a great customer liaison role working in a friendly, fast paced team environment with a mixture of telephone and face to face customer contact. Working towards office and team targets, there are excellent future career prospects, as well as the opportunity to be sponsored through professional qualifications. This role often suits candidates from a retail sales or a membership sales background, but we are open on background if you have some drive to achieve in your career.

Responsibilities

  • Working as part of a friendly, vibrant team to provide clients with advice on products and services

  • Liaising both face to face with clients and over the phone

  • Building positive relationships with clients and providing competitive quotes

  • Developing excellent product knowledge and handling internal queries and customer’s questions

  • Be able to spot sales opportunities and move it through to a successful conclusion

Requirements

  • A minimum educational standard of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths grades A*- C (or equivalent)

  • Friendly and persuasive communicator who can build relationships easily

  • Strong organisation and problem-solving skills

  • Passionate about building a career
