The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and talented Drama Teacher to join a leading independent all-boys’ school in St Albans. Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and imaginative Drama Teacher to deliver inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5. The successful candidate will foster a deep appreciation for theatre and performance while helping students to grow in confidence, collaboration, and creativity. The role also involves supporting a vibrant programme of school productions, drama clubs, and enrichment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Drama lessons from KS3 to KS5

  • Direct and assist with school productions, showcases, and co-curricular performances

  • Encourage pupil involvement in drama competitions, festivals, and enrichment programmes

  • Track and assess pupil progress, offering targeted feedback and individual support

  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Arts Department to support an innovative curriculum

  • Promote key values such as confidence, teamwork, and creative thinking
