Account Director (Experiential / Events) – Hybrid / Hertfordshire – £65,000–£70,000

Our client is a niche marketing and events company offering exciting growth opportunities for an ambitious Account Director with strong experiential and events experience.

They work with well-known brands across both B2C and B2B, delivering projects of all sizes—including international campaigns—to help bring marketing plans to life in creative and practical ways. Their work includes in-house training events, festival builds, bespoke pop-ups, PR stunts, mass sampling, merchandising and more.

Role Overview

You’ll lead on key accounts, taking full ownership of projects from start to finish—including:

  • Research, presentations, budget management, creativity and planning
  • Scoping, negotiating and booking event venues
  • Working closely with production teams to deliver high standards
  • Resourcing event staff and preparing detailed staff briefs
  • Managing client relationships, reporting and event evaluations
  • Attending nationwide events (production builds and live shows)
  • Spotting opportunities for repeat business and account growth

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in experiential/events across sectors
  • A senior leadership background on live experiential campaigns
  • Strong logistics and operations experience
  • Experience with mass sampling campaigns
  • Proven budget management (invoicing, POs, reconciliations)
  • Hands-on production knowledge for stand builds (1-day to month-long)
  • Experience managing all levels of H&S and risk on live events
  • Willingness to travel and stay away for events as needed

Working Model

  • Hybrid: 2 days per week in the Hertfordshire office, 3 days WFH
  • You’ll also attend client meetings and live events across the UK
