Supply Desk is working with a welcoming nursery in St Albans seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to join their team. Position Details:
• Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
• Start Date: ASAP / January 2026
• Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
• Hours: 8:00am – 6:00pm
• Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Your Role Will Involve:
• Delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Supporting children’s learning, emotional development, and independence through play-based experiences.
• Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive environment.
• Contributing to planning, observations, and assessments to track children’s progress.
• Ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and wellbeing at all times.
Essential Requirements:
• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
• A caring, enthusiastic, and patient approach to supporting young children.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to providing a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
