This is an exciting opportunity to join my client, an innovative, industry-leading Technology Company, renowned for lending their expertise to providing monitoring systems for Water Quality and Infrastructure. They are actively seeking a talented, driven Senior Full Stack Systems Developer with a knowledge and passion for the environment, willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside an established team of professionals, based near the scenic, historical city of St. Albans.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Full Stack Systems Developer include:
- Overseeing a team of technological experts
- Leading the production and deployment of the company's software products and services, across the environmental sector
- Monitoring the continued maintenance of the products and services
- Taking responsibility for the long-term quality and security of the Source Code
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Full Stack Systems Developer include:
- Hold a Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or a similar, relevant discipline)
- Extensive experience of working as a Full Stack Developer
- Excellent working knowledge of full Software System Lifecycle
- Experience of working with software systems/programmes within an environmental setting
- Demonstrable experience with Java Middleware
- Outstanding knowledge of Performance and Security in Enterprise Systems
- Experience of working with networks: LAN & WAN/Internet and Security
- Prior experience of Database Access Design and Application Optimisation
- Demonstrable experience of working with Human Computer Interaction (HCI) in Software Systems, including Machine-to-Machine Automation Technologies
- Highly-proficient in Software System Design, Development, Testing, and Deployment Strategies for High Availability
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Full Stack Systems Developer include:
- Experience of working with software applications within a Water/Hydrological Environment
- Prior experience with some of the following methodologies:
- Containerisation: Docker
- MQTT, RESTful URL Data Integration
- Deep Learning Neural Network Platforms - Previous experience with Enterprise Linux Platforms
- Experience of leading/mentoring a team of developers
