Resident Liaison Officer – St Albans

28-33k - Permanent role

We’re on the lookout for a Resident Liaison Officer to join our team and support one of our clients on a large-scale project in St Albans. This project will be focused on providing FRA and external upgrades to social housing properties.

The role
As our Resident Liaison Officer, you’ll be the go-to person for residents – making sure their voices are heard, their questions answered, and their experience with us is as smooth as possible. You’ll act as the bridge between residents, the project team, and wider stakeholders, helping us deliver not just great work, but great service too.

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as the main liaison between residents and the site team 
  • Schedule appointments and communicate work programmes
  • Handle queries, concerns, and complaints with empathy and professionalism
  • Support the delivery of rFRA works
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to compliance documentation

About you
We’re looking for someone who’s organised, approachable, and genuinely enjoys working with people. You'll need to have experience as a Resident Liaison Officer (or in a similar role within social housing or local councils), but what matters most is your ability to connect with residents and make them feel valued.

You’ll also need to bring:

  • Excellent communication skills – face-to-face, over the phone, and in writing

  • Confidence with IT (Microsoft Office in particular)

  • 1 year experience as an RLO
  • A calm, empathetic approach to problem-solving

  • A full, clean UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between properties
