We are currently recruiting for an experienced and forward-thinking Private Client Solicitor to take on a senior leadership role as Head of Department within a well-established and expanding law firm in St Albans. The Role
- Lead and develop a new Private Client department with autonomy and vision.
- Manage a varied caseload including Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection matters.
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff, paralegals, and support team members.
- Deliver exceptional client care and maintain high professional standards.
- Drive the growth of the department through strategic planning and business development.
- Be considered for LLP membership or partnership as part of future career progression.
The Person
- 10+ years' PQE as a qualified solicitor in Private Client law.
- STEP qualification (or working towards it).
- A strong track record in managing complex matters across the full private client spectrum.
- Demonstrable leadership experience or ambition to lead a team.
- Excellent communication, client relationship, and mentorship skills.
- A commercially-minded and proactive approach to building a practice.
