Payroll SpecialistSt Albans (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite per Week)6-month PAYE contract£20-£25 per hourWe are seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in St Albans on a 6-month PAYE assignment. This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week onsite. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our organisation.Interviews will be next week (via Teams) for an immediate start thereafter. The first week will be onsite going hybrid the week after.Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end processing of the company payroll using iTrent
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies
  • Manage payroll queries from employees with professionalism and discretion
  • Prepare and reconcile payroll reports
  • Liaise with HR and Finance departments to ensure data accuracy
Essential Requirements:
  • CIPP qualification (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals)
  • Proven experience in processing payroll using iTrent
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity
