Senior Valuer / Lister – Hertfordshire (Multiple Locations)Basic Salary - £30,000 - £35,000OTE - Up to £65,000Representing a Market-Leading Independent Estate Agency  I’m currently working on behalf of a highly respected, award-winning independent estate agency that has firmly established itself as the leading property business across Hertfordshire—responsible for selling more homes in the AL postcodes than any other competitor. Due to continued growth and a dominant market position, my client is now looking to connect with ambitious and talented Senior Valuers / Listers who are based in, or happy to commute to, one of their six Hertfordshire-based branches. The Opportunity This is a fantastic chance to join an innovative, forward-thinking business known for its creativity, modern systems, and tailored client experience. With a strong foothold in the premium property market (£1m+), the ideal candidate will bring a successful track record of valuing and listing in higher-demographic areas, and a genuine passion for client service. Supported by a centralised team handling viewings, sales progression, and inbound enquiries, you’ll have the freedom to focus 80% of your time on what you do best—valuing, listing, and advising clients. You’ll also have the opportunity to work in tandem with a dedicated, office-based associate to provide a concierge-level service that keeps your clients informed and supported every step of the way. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct multiple market appraisals each day
  • Deliver expert market advice and tailored property marketing strategies
  • Win instructions and convert appraisals into listings
  • Nurture trusted relationships with clients and buyers
  • Oversee the sales process through to the agreed sale stage before handing over to the progression team
  • Contribute to increasing market share and maintaining a premium reputation
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 6 years of estate agency experience, including 4+ years as a valuer/lister
  • Excellent local knowledge of Hertfordshire
  • A proven track record in winning business and working with high-value homes

Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 6:00pm
