A well-resourced St Albans secondary school is seeking a DT Teacher to deliver exciting lessons in Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Engineering, helping students develop creativity, practical skills, and innovation.
The Role at a Glance
Teach Design Technology across KS3 and KS4, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Planning and delivering engaging, practical DT lessons
• Supporting pupils in designing, making, and evaluating projects
• Ensuring safe use of tools, machinery, and materials
• Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the DT curriculum
Who We’re Looking For
• QTS or equivalent
• Experience teaching DT in secondary schools
• Creative, practical, and innovative
• Skilled in workshop safety and behaviour management
