- Undertake a broad range of estate and asset management duties, including landlord and tenant matters
- Manage the Council’s property portfolio, including both operational and investment assets
- Handle statutory asset valuations for financial reporting purposes
- Support Right to Buy valuations and legislative compliance
- Manage and process a variety of property-related transactions, such as:
- Disposals
- Wayleaves
- Licence agreements
- Relaxation of restrictive covenants
- Liaise with legal services, external valuers, and stakeholders as required
- Ensure records and asset registers are kept up to date
- Proven experience in estate management, preferably within a local authority or public sector setting
- Strong knowledge of property law, land management, and asset valuation
- Understanding of Right to Buy legislation and statutory valuation processes
- Experience managing property transactions and advising on legal matters
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- RICS qualification (or working towards) highly desirable
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise effectively
