An opportunity to join an established waste and recycling haulage business, we are looking to recruit a full time, permanent Transport Office / Fleet Compliance Administrator to support the Managing Director and Transport Planners in the running of a large transport operation across Southern England.

This is a varied role that requires a strong talented individual, who can multi-task, work under pressure with ease and maintain impeccable standards. This is an opportunity to develop your skills and become a valued member of our team.

Duties will include:-

vehicle compliance administration

to give administration support to the Transport Planners

reception duties

processing of accident reports and liaising with insurance company

assist with accreditation audits

driver's holidays / sickness / training

customer credit checks

provide general office administration, secretarial and office support

Route planning of fleet vehicles to provide office/holiday cover

Required:

Excellent IT skills - be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word

excellent people skills / team player

ability to work in a highly demanding and changeable environment

forward thinking and able to anticipate needs of the Managing Director

a robust character able to liaise with people at all levels with confidence

strong organisational skills, time management and co-ordination

flexible attitude to working hours

be proactive with ability to work with minimum supervision

Hours of work:

40 hours Monday to Friday
