An established automotive centre in the St Albans region is looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, high-volume facility with a positive team environment and a structured bonus scheme.

The Role:

  • Perform detailed inspections and maintenance on new vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Identify and report wear, defects, or parts requiring replacement
  • Communicate technical findings when needed, maintaining professionalism with colleagues and clients
  • Support a collaborative workshop culture with a focus on efficiency and quality
  • Assist fellow technicians and promote knowledge sharing within the team

About You:

  • Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Solid understanding of vehicle safety and inspection protocols
  • Valid UK driving licence required

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch). No weekend work unless exceptional demand arises.
