Salary Range 50,000 - £65,000 (DOE) + commission + car allowance + benefits

Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a leading manufacturer of precision industrial products recruit a Senior Technical Sales Engineer, this full-time role comes with a competitive salary and an industry leading commission and benefits package.
As the Senior Technical Sales Engineer, you will join the global sales team with full responsibility for the development of sales across the EMEA region. You will work closely with customers to fully understand their problems and propose hardware, software, or contract solutions that deliver superb quality and meet or exceed customer expectations.
In this Senior Technical Sales Engineer role, you can expect to:
- Field calls and emails, responding quickly to client enquiries
- Visit potential customers across the region, delivering sales presentations and building strong customer relationships
- Deliver product demonstrations either in the field or on-site at UK Headquarters
- Represent the business at major technical conferences within the EMEA region
- Communicate the needs of customers to the technical teams and service groups within the business.
To apply for this Senior Technical Sales Engineer role, you will be qualified in a relevant mechanical, electrical, materials or scientific (physics/chemistry) discipline, with sales experience that demonstrates an ability to win new business and increase sales from existing and new accounts across EMEA.
You will also require the following:
- Have proven technical sales experience, within complex high value precision engineered products, systems, contracts and services.
- Be commercially astute with good business and technical communication skills, comfortable working with a diverse range of customers/people internationally across the EMEA region.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build robust working relationships in multi-cultural settings with customers that may have time and budgetary constraints.
- Strong presentation, technical writing and computer skills, proficient user of the full Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to travel within EMEA (valid driver's licence and passport) often off the beaten track and be away from home for up to two weeks at a time.
