Trial Balance are delighted to have been engaged by an accountancy practice based in St. Austell, to seek an experienced Senior Manager. This is a brand-new role and will be offered on a full-time and permanent basis. Flexible working arrangements are open to discussion, as well as a competitive salary and a healthy benefits package (including a bonus scheme).

The role? Your responsibilities will include; planning, undertaking and supervising assignments, client specific projects and year-end compliance requirements, to include statutory accounts and tax returns. You will be accountable for a portfolio of clients, managing a small team and also have an involvement in business development.

The right fit? Your technical accounting and tax skills will be excellent and up-to-date and you will have achieved the ACA or ACCA qualification, backed up with several years of accountancy practice experience. You will also need to display the interpersonal skills to interact with a varied client portfolio and the ability to fit in with a tight-knit and experienced team.
