Learning Support Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for Learning Support Assistants for the new academic year. We are looking for people to work full-time, part-time, and on a flexible supply basis, dependent on your preferences.

We are looking for people with a background in education, support work or care work, but are also keen to hear from anyone with skills transferable into the classroom. The role will involve providing 1:1 and small group support, and supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery, behaviour management, and engagement.

The ideal applicant will be passionate about supporting children and young people, be empathetic, reliable and patient, and will have experience within an educational setting.

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum availability of 2-3 days per week
  • Level 2 or above in a relevant subject (preferred)
  • Reliability, punctuality, enthusiasm
  • A DBS on the update service (or happy to apply for one)
