Are you a dedicated Social Worker committed to protecting vulnerable adults? Cornwall Council’s Safeguarding Adults Team is looking for an experienced and compassionate Safeguarding Adults Social Workerto join our team.

About the Role:As a key member of the Safeguarding Adults Team, you will be responsible for assessing and responding to safeguarding concerns, supporting adults at risk, and working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure safety and promote wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct safeguarding assessments and investigations in line with statutory guidance

  • Develop safeguarding plans and ensure their effective implementation

  • Advocate for adults at risk, promoting their rights and choices

  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and partner agencies

  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding reviews and case conferences

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England

  • Experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation
