As a teaching assistant working with Hays, we can offer you work that fits around you and your commitments.We are currently looking for level 2 and level 3 teaching assistants to work in our partner schools from September 2025. Your new company You will be working for a specialist education agency who works exclusively with primary schools for short-term and long-term teaching assistant cover. You will be able to select assignments that fit around you, work across KS1 and KS2 and gain experience working in different schools. You will also be offered long-term assignments which could leave to permanent opportunities. Your new role As a teaching assistant, your main role will be to provide pupils with support and guidance, ensuring that they are able to access the curriculum fully and truly enjoy their education. You will support the classroom teacher with their delivery of the curriculum, both inside and outside the classroom, whilst also supporting the pupil's well-being. Hours are in line with the school day and part-time hours can be discussed for the right candidate. You will receive a competitive rate of pay, whilst embracing a challenging and rewarding role. What you'll need to succeed To be successful with your application you will need You will have experience working with children within the last 2 years.
