Key Responsibilities

Deliver nursing services within a school setting, supporting the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of pupils.

Carry out health assessments, care planning, immunisations, and health promotion activities.

Offer confidential support and advice to students and staff on a range of health issues.

Liaise effectively with safeguarding teams, parents/carers, and external agencies.

Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to health and wellbeing policies.

Support the school in managing medical conditions and emergency situations.
Candidate Requirements
-
Registered Nurse (RN/RSCN)with current NMC registration.
-
Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nursing) qualification desirable.

Previous experience working with children and young people in a school or community setting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A proactive and flexible approach.

An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
