Telehandler Operator needed in St Helens!

Location: St Helens, UK
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Long-term temporary position
Rate: 17.00 per hour (PAYE Umbrella)

About the Role:

We're recruiting for an experienced Telehandler Operator to work on a new build social housing development in St Helens for one of our long-standing Social Housing clients.

This is a long-term opportunity offering stability and consistent work on a well-run site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe and efficient operation of the Telehandler on site
• Moving materials, pallets, and equipment around the site as directed by site management
• Supplying trades with materials to various plot locations
• Assisting with site logistics and ensuring safe access and egress routes
• Daily maintenance checks and reporting any defects or issues with machinery
• Supporting general site duties when required to ensure smooth progress of works
• Adhering to all site health & safety regulations and procedures

Requirements:

• Valid NPORS or CPCS Telehandler ticket
• Previous experience on new build housing projects
• A strong understanding of site safety and teamwork
• Full PPE
• Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
