Your new companyOne of our clients, a well-established engineering and maintenance services provider, is looking to expand their team with a Team Leader - Panel Wiring based in St Helens. They operate across multiple industrial sectors and are known for delivering high-quality, safety-focused solutions.

Your new roleAs a Team Leader - Panel Wiring, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of wirepersons and ensuring the successful delivery of electrical control panel assembly projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coordinating a team of panel wirepersons to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Providing hands-on support with wiring, mechanical assembly, and component fitting within electrical control cabinets and systems.
  • Interpreting and working from circuit diagrams, wiring schematics, and mechanical drawings.
  • Collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure project specifications and deadlines are met.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and promoting lean manufacturing practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards at all times.

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience in electrical panel wiring and assembly, ideally in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent understanding of technical drawings, wiring schematics, and control panel systems.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with 5S/Lean manufacturing principles and a focus on achieving KPIs.
