Overview:


Join our clients as a Senior Electrical Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Design Engineer, where you'll be a key technical authority within our in-house engineering team. You'll lead the design and delivery of electrical control panels and associated systems, supporting projects from concept through to construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead EC&I design activities, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Act as technical authority for EC&I discipline, supporting the Engineering Manager in achieving business goals.
  • Translate client specifications into robust engineering solutions.
  • Manage design phases, change control, and support manufacturing and construction stages.
  • Plan and execute tasks to meet project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Interface directly with clients, managing expectations and scope.
  • Approve engineering estimates and monitor project costs and progress.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in regulated sectors such as nuclear, defence, oil & gas, or power generation.
  • Strong theoretical and practical EC&I knowledge.
  • Skilled in design, testing, and evaluation of electrical systems.

Desirable Skills:

  • Low Voltage Switchgear, MCC, and Variable Drive System Design.
  • Control/Automation System Design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, and AMTECH.

Security Clearance:


Existing clearance preferred; candidates must be eligible for UK security vetting.
