Elevation Recruitment Group's HR Division are working with a construction company to recruit a temporary People Advisor on a 3-6 months basis with a potential to go permanent. Salary: £35,000Location: Haydock Hybrid - 3 Days in the office 2 days from home

The role of People Advisor will be to provide advice and guidance, supporting managers on people management case work and absence support and guidance.

  • Be the first point of contact for all managers throughout the business for people policy related issues
  • Coach and influence managers in people management, developing skills and constructively challenging inappropriate behaviours/actions
  • Support managers to improve attendance ensuring that both long and short term sickness levels are kept within company targets utilising the available systems and management information

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have solid experience of Employee Relations with the ability to build strong working relationships with all levels of managers
  • Demonstrates a sound understanding of employment law
  • CIPD L5, or working towards
  • Able to start within the next 2 weeks
