The Role:
We're looking for an experienced Road Freight Forwarder to take ownership of our domestic and international road freight operations. You'll play a key role in ensuring timely, efficient, and compliant movement of goods across the UK and Europe.
What You'll Be Doing:
Coordinate end-to-end road freight shipments across the UK and Europe
Manage transport bookings, customs requirements, and delivery schedules
Liaise with hauliers, clients, and overseas agents to ensure smooth operations
Monitor shipments proactively and handle any issues or delays
Ensure all documentation and compliance standards are met
Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and carriers
Requirements
3+ years of UK-based freight forwarding experience, with a focus on road transport
Strong knowledge of customs procedures, European road freight regulations, and Incoterms
Confident in managing full-load and groupage shipments from booking to delivery
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Proficiency in logistics systems and transport documentation
