About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom to maintain continuity of education during teacher absences. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced support staff, or anyone with a strong interest in secondary education.
Your responsibilities will include:

Supervising classes across the secondary age range (Key Stages 3 and 4)

Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students stay on task with the work set

Supporting students in their learning while following the lesson plan provided

Reporting back to teaching staff and school leaders on student progress and conduct
We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience working with young people (in education or similar settings)

Is confident managing a classroom and engaging students
-
Can quickly build rapport and adapt to different school environments

Has excellent communication and organisational skills
-
Holds a valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to apply for one)
