We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected machine shop. They're seeking a dedicated Finishing Technician to join its growing production team in Cambridgeshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a world-class facility producing mission-critical, high-integrity products for long-term contracts.Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out final processes on high-integrity stainless steel products, including grouting, laser marking, weld cleaning, and ink stencilling
  • Fit seals, filters, and perform shrink-fitting operations using liquid nitrogen
  • Conduct load testing to verify structural integrity
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party inspectors to complete quality documentation
  • Pack and wrap finished products according to specifications
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety
  • Maintain accurate production records and perform basic equipment maintenance
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organised work environment using the 5S methodology

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Confident working with tools and technical equipment
