They are seeking a diligent and proactive School Site Manager to ensure their facilities are maintained to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily maintenance and operation of school buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Ensure the premises are consistently safe, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Supervise the site team, including cleaners, caretakers, and contractors.
  • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify and address maintenance and safety issues.
  • Coordinate repair and maintenance work to minimise disruption to school activities.
  • Manage the school's security systems, including alarms, CCTV, and access control.
  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, health and safety checks, and compliance documentation.
  • Support the school during emergency situations, including fire drills and evacuations.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of school events and activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an education setting.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
