The One Group are pleased to be working with a precision engineering company based in St Neots who supply precision engineered components into the Automotive and Motorsport sectors who are seeking a Estimating Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.My client manufactures low batch components for their high value customers across the Automotive and Motorsport sectors and as a Quoting Engineer you will be responsible for quoting and estimating process for work and set processes for the Bill of Materials.Having strong communication skills is vital as you will be talking to customers to take their sale request, preparing the estimate, and building the quote around the information you have gather, for the more complex jobs you will work closely alongside the Production Engineering team for technical support with the quotation. You will be dealing with external suppliers and material and tooling vendors to ensure you are quoting the right prices for the correct materials.My client is ideally looking for someone who has a strong background in CNC machining with the understanding and experience in the estimating processes.
