Customer Service Administrator

Near St Neots 

Full time - permanent

Monday to Friday

£23,500 + commission - in office 

You will need your own transport to get to the site

Our client is looking to expand their existing team with an additional Customer Service Administrator/Claims Handler. You would be joining a busy, sociable company, which prides itself on service and collaboration to provide solutions for their clients.  The role of claims handler is to provide support to customers with their claims; it is a busy role in which you will be responsible for your own case-load of customers, enabling you to build relationships and deliver the highest standards of customer service and administrative support.  The role would suit individuals from customer service or administration roles, looking to progress their careers within a supportive, sociable, team-focused company where full training and support will be given.  

Main duties;

  • Answering inbound calls from customers dealing with the full process of their claims
  • Dealing with inbound emails providing support to customers
  • Handling telephone enquiries and reviewing claims.
  • Producing and maintaining diaries for clients and insurers.
  • Updating and maintaining the database with all customer and claims information

You need;

  • Confident telephone manner
  • No prior experience needed in this exact role but computer skills are essential
  • A background in hospitality or customer-facing retail is welcomed 
  • A helpful, positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a team but alone when necessary
  • Well organised
  • Able to deliver high standards of service
  • Willingness to learn
  • Basic IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook essential) to update the database with relevant claims

Full training is provided so previosu experience is not essential, however the willingness to be trained is imperative.
