A thriving, forward-thinking accountancy practice in Staffordshire is expanding and looking for a confident and capable Audit Senior to join their high-performing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or nearly qualified ACA/ACCA auditor to take on a pivotal role, leading on-site fieldwork and building trusted relationships with a quality client base.
Responsibilities:-
- Leading "on-site" audit fieldwork at clients’ premises across the region
- Managing the audit team onsite and being the primary point of contact for client management
- Reporting directly to Audit Managers or Partners
- Completing audit files and drafting audited financial statements in line with FRS 102
- Contributing to a collaborative team environment
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or close to qualifying)
- Minimum of 3 years’ external audit experience
- Proven experience leading audit assignments and reporting upwards
- Strong accounts preparation experience
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Competent Excel user (experience with ProAudit, IRIS, SAGE beneficial)
Salary up to £50,000 pa DOE
