Due to continued expansion, RHA Recruitment Solutions is working with a large manufacturer, looking to add to the current product development team.
As part of an established team, you will design, develop and project manage a range of products, which offer solutions to a board client base.
Duties will include, but not be limited too:-
- Market Research
- Attending and coordinating project meetings
- Monitor and report on project costs
- Identify a potential supply chain, developing strong working relationships
- Produce and develop designs through from concept to prototype and into production
- Develop and run suitable testing programmes
- Production of accurate Bill of Materials
- Fully hand over projects to project engineering team, for them to maintain designs.
- Support in the ongoing development of the engineering department systems and procedures.
- Contribute to DFMEA activities.
As an individual, you will be able to demonstrate the following:-
- Demonstrate previous experience working in Product Design Engineer role.
- Able to monitor and report on project costs.
- Proficient in the use of 3D CAD software.
- Comfortable working and communicating with numerous internal departments along with customers and suppliers.
- Able to demonstrate working as a lead on previous new product introductions.
- Experience of working with a wide range of manufacturing process
- Experience of SolidWorks.
- Experience using Sage X3 ERP system.
