Job Title: Electronic Assembly Operative & Administrative Assistant
Location: Eccleshall
Salary: 28,000 - 30,000 per year (pro rata for part-time)
We're looking for a skilled and dependable Electronic Assembly Operative who's also happy to support with occasional administrative duties. This is a varied and hands-on role that combines practical assembly work with light office tasks - ideal for someone who enjoys both precision and variety in their workday.
Key Responsibilities
Electronic Assembly
Assemble small electronic components and precision parts following detailed specifications and drawings.
Carry out basic soldering, wiring, and initial testing to ensure correct operation.
Perform quality checks to confirm accuracy, performance, and finish to company and customer standards.
Administrative Support
Assist with day-to-day office tasks such as checking emails, processing orders, and maintaining records.
Respond to customer queries and help keep office processes running smoothly.
What We're Looking For
Experience in electro/electronic assembly - confident with tools, soldering, and reading technical drawings.
Excellent attention to detail - methodical and quality-focused.
Good eyesight and steady hands - essential for working with small, delicate components.
Basic computer literacy - comfortable using email, order entry systems, and standard office software.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Full-time)
Flexible and part-time options available - we're happy to discuss hours that work for you.
No weekend work.
