2nd Line Support Engineer, Stoke On Trent

Excellent opportunity for a 2nd Line support Engineer to join an excellent MSP a leading provider of IT services in their service operations team. Working on cutting-edge solutions to support critical operations and infrastructure. This would suit an experienced and talented second line support engineer, to ensure the reliability, availability, performance of infrastructure.

As a key member of the technical team, you will provide essential support to maintain operational readiness. Dealing with P1 incidents, the first POC, experienced at ticketing systems, great at troubleshooting incidents around networking, hardware, software, cloud services. Liasing with vendors and 3rd party providers, resolving issues to agreeded SLA's. 

Patching, patch management, patch systems & software experience is essential to egularly test and patch systems and software to ensure security and functionality.

Strong commerical working experience as an IT Support engineer with ITIL V3/4 foundation or above, CompTIA, Microsofrd certified. Due to this being a technical support role you will need to have excellent communication skills. Responding and resolving complex IT issues in a timely manner, providing efficient and timely solutions to maintain a high standard.

This is a busy, bustling, collaborative, Agile team working onsite in Stoke. Preference for someone who has worked in an MSP, used common service desk tech Windows OS, Server and Microsoft 365. Networking - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, service management tools - ServiceNow, JIRA, Service Desk.

Would suit someone who can drive, local to the offices in Stoke On Trent.
