Lecturer in Plumbing
Location: Staffordshire
Salary: 30,427 - 42,136 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, year-round
Contract: Permanent
We're looking for an inspiring Lecturer in Plumbing to join a well-established education provider's construction and built environment faculty in Staffordshire.
This is a rewarding opportunity to share your skills and experience with the next generation of plumbing and heating engineers, delivering high-quality teaching and practical training across Levels 1-3.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons, workshops, and practical sessions in plumbing and heating engineering.
- Develop and update course materials in line with industry best practice and emerging technologies.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve their goals.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching methods and curriculum design.
- Take part in open events, recruitment activities, and community projects.
About You:
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (minimum).
- IQA & Assessor qualifications, or willingness to work towards them.
- A teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
- Level 2 (GCSE A-C) in English and Maths, or willingness to achieve these.
- Current industry knowledge, including regulations and emerging trends.
