Civil Litigator | Stafford | Full Time – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, with remote/flexible arrangements to be agreed upon following successful completion of the probation period | Salary circa £40,000 Per Annum – Up to £50,000 for the right candidate

Our client, a respected and forward-thinking law firm based in Stafford, is looking for an experienced Civil Litigator to join their expanding team. The firm is Midlands-based but operates exclusively using cloud-based systems, enabling it to handle cases across England and Wales. Their expertise spans claimant and defendant work, including contractual disputes, counter-fraud, construction claims, clinical negligence, personal injury, and complex insurance-related claims.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Qualified Solicitor, CILEX, or Litigation Executive with 3+ years PQE
  • Strong experience in civil and commercial litigation
  • Excellent client handling and communication skills
  • Confident working independently and under pressure
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and Practice Directions

What will your role look like?

  • Manage a varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation
  • Advise clients with high-quality, practical legal solutions
  • Prepare legal documents, reports, and correspondence
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, Counsel, and other professionals
  • Prepare for trial, including costs and case management conferences
  • Work to targets and deliver results efficiently
