We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Director to join our team within Vistry North Central Midlands, at our office in Stafford. As our Commercial Director, you will direct and lead the commercial strategy of the region whilst leading, inspiring, and motivating the commercial team in order to generate profit. The successful candidate will currently be at Commercial Director level, or be working at Commercial Manager or Head of Commercial level and be ready to progress, experience must have been gained from the housebuilding sector.

    • To define, direct and lead a commercial strategy that balances risk to the business with opportunity for income generation to reinvest in the business.
    • To direct and lead the governance of the Commercial team, ensuring proper accountability for, and reporting of, all commercial activity and the development of appropriate control systems.

    • Manage risk and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal procedural requirements.
    • Manage and support the performance and development of the Commercial team.
    • Work collaboratively with the other disciplines to ensure the necessary key milestones are achieved through the life of site process.
    • To actively support sustainability within the business to enhance our efforts towards a more sustainable and environmentally responsible operation, driving operations and ensuring we meet the business’s sustainability goals.
    • To actively support social value within the business, including collation of data, increasing local social and economic value and driving cultural change within the teams.
