Mental Health Teaching Assistant (SEMH)

We're looking for a compassionate and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated school team, in Stafford, supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. About the Role:

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with pupils across Key Stages 1-4 who may also have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, or other comorbid conditions. Your role will involve supporting behaviour for learning, promoting positive relationships, and helping students access the curriculum in a way that works for them.

This is a varied and rewarding opportunity, based in Stafford, where no two days are the same. Whether it's helping to de-escalate a challenging moment, guiding a child through a learning activity, or simply being a steady, trusted presence in their day-you'll be an essential part of each pupil's progress.
