Required Skills:
EHS compliance and safe working practices.
Ability to deliver results, address and resolve technical issues.
Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing Test environment and
knowledge of automated Manufacturing test equipment.
Technical Electrical qualification.
Knowledge of running test equipment up to 10KV or 2000A @ low voltage.
Knowledge of HVDC product testing would be advantageous.
Interaction with others and good at sharing knowledge.

Responsibilities:
Production routine testing of all HVDC & FACTS products.
Diagnostic down to component level for test failures.
Perform routine VAV process.
Support Maintenance, Calibration and Servicing of test equipment.
Support in test equipment upgrades and product changeovers.
Maintain daily safety checks and applicable documentation.
To carry out duties as a PIC Person in charg

The Test technician will carry out the testing of HVDC & FACTS Products in line with project deliverables and support the Test engineers and Manufacturing Manager as required.
The candidate will have a good level of general education and communication skills and will have previously worked in a HV test environment.
Interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivating, proactive and results driven approach.
Problem-solving and root cause identification skills.
Able to work to deadlines with good quality.
Proficient in the English language, written and verbal.
